We have launched!

We were thrilled to celebrate the official launch with stakeholders at Hobart’s Waterside Pavilion. The launch was a fabulous evening with so much positivity and support from everyone in the room and an exciting chance to share our vision for MICF. The associated gallery and installation saw us engage hundreds of interested community members about the special nature of Macquarie Island and the activities of the foundation.

We would like to thank our members and those who attended the launch and gallery over the weekend. We appreciate everyone’s support in helping bring the Macquarie Island Conservation Foundation to life. We would also like to acknowledge and say a massive thank you to our volunteers and event sponsors: Institut Polaire, Domaine Simha, Deep South Brewing Co., Jansz Tasmania, Coal River Farm, Expotas, Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), and the Rotary Club of Hobart.
