The Macquarie Island Conservation Foundation is a not-for-profit environmental organisation that aims to promote and protect the natural environment of Macquarie Island, specifically via:
Facilitating research, monitoring and applied management actions for achieving the conservation of natural and heritage values of Macquarie Island;
Providing opportunities for involvement, contributions and connections to Macquarie Island; and
As advocates for the island’s conservation, taking a leadership role in promoting and fostering awareness and understanding of the importance of Macquarie Island.
We can accept one off donations or re-occurring monthly or annual donations. For large donations we recommend a direct Bank Transfer to avoid processing overheads. We are registered as deductible gift recipient (DGR), which means that donations over $2 are tax deductible.
